Since I was a teenager, genealogy has been my hobby. For at least a decade I’ve been writing for genealogy magazines. I’ve attended a handful of genealogy conferences.
This year (2016) I’ve decided to move toward becoming a professional. I’m already a member of the Ohio Genealogical Society, and just joined the National Genealogical Society and the Association of Professional Genealogists.
Many times I’ve given out free advice to family and friends researching their family roots. I’m looking for more experience so I’ll be offering my services for local (central Ohio and online) research and Irish research for $20/hour. That is the low end for professionals, and since I’m just starting out it seems fair. Contact me for more information.
